The crisis of terminology within the scientific, academic, and cultural trends in our Arab and Islamic world—stemming from the distinctive idea of the "Islamization of Knowledge"—has generated many issues, starting from the acceptance of the term itself to the precise definition of the concepts built upon it. Human and social sciences have been heavily affected by these issues, particularly Islamic Psychology. This field has faced significant pressure to change its title or replace the "Islamic" descriptor with another to avoid conflict with academic and scientific authorities. The researcher concludes that "Islamic Knowledge" is the most beneficial, safest, and most precise term linguistically and conceptually. He views Islamic Psychology as a prime model of Islamic knowledge that demonstrates the efficacy and applicability of the concept. However, the researcher emphasizes the need to move past these terminological hurdles, agree on a conceptual framework, and advance into scientific branches needed by both the academic community and the public, focusing on an actionable plan to achieve Islamic cognitive goals.
