This study highlights the phenomenon of excluding certain jurisprudential works from the Islamic heritage despite their significance. It examines the cases of “Ibn Sahnun’s Answers” and “Qarawiyyin’s Answers,” analyzing the reasons behind their criticism and marginalization, as well as their impact on Maliki jurisprudence of legal cases (nawazil), and proposes approaches to preserving heritage from within its own framework.
