This study addresses the topic “Human Nature (Fitrah) and Its Impact on Mental Health.” Some psychologists believe that there is a relationship between human nature and human behavior. It is suggested that humans are born with innate moral values that guide them toward good and away from harmful behavior, such as kindness to others, cooperation, justice, and respect. Deviating from these innate values may lead to psychological disorders or behavioral problems.
The study also discusses the concept of human nature from both religious and psychological perspectives. It explains that when individuals live in a healthy environment that respects their natural disposition, they are more capable of achieving psychological balance and mental well-being. However, exposure to negative environmental factors or social pressures that distance individuals from their natural disposition may lead to psychological difficulties.
The research emphasizes that returning to the sound human nature and strengthening moral values can contribute to achieving mental health for individuals and society. Proper upbringing and a supportive social environment also play an important role in maintaining psychological balance.
