Variabilité Spatio-Temporelle des Précipitations dans le Bassin Versant de l’Oued Lahdar (Prérif Oriental, Maroc)

Abstract

This study investigates the spatio-temporal variability of precipitation in the Oued Lahdar watershed, located in the Eastern Prerif within a Mediterranean semi-arid climate. It analyzes data from multiple measurement stations across the basin to identify rainfall distribution patterns and the influence of topographic factors such as altitude and slope exposure. The findings reveal uneven rainfall distribution and significant interannual variability characterized by alternating wet and dry periods, along with intense rainstorms that frequently cause flooding.
