Abstract

The book "Introduction to Islamic Psychology" is considered a qualitative addition to the construction of this science, and an attempt by an institution that sought to establish it based on religious texts, and to establish some of its foundations based on actual practice. In it, the author took the reader on a tour around a number of topics in psychology, starting with talking about cognitive theory and defining psychology in general and Islamic psychology in particular, passing through talking about the view of religions on the human psyche and the most important sections of psychology, and ending with talking about personality and the most important theories of its study and the factors influencing it, and talking about the most important doubts and objections directed at the idea of Islamic psychology and responding to them.
